Fashion Meets Art

By: Team FMW

Latest from the fashion world is that Luxure Louis Philippe has partnered with contemporary photography gallery Tasveer to bring together the works of avante garde photographers. This is a part of their forthcoming five-city exhibition tour.

Works of some celebrated Japanese photographers – Yuji Obata, Tokihiro Sato, Shiho Kito, Kimiko Yoshida, Ken Kitano – will be on display. Exploring the notion of ‘Hikari’ (Japanese word for light), the photographers will show how light can be used as both a tool of illumination and as a cloak. It is like revealing something we might not normally see, or conversely, covering something up.

Through this exhibition, they want to showcase the diverse and creative world of contemporary Japanese photography. “We are proud to announce this collaboration. Luxure Louis Philippe is an exponent of art, creativity and innovation. The exhibition will showcase the best talents and also reach out to a larger audience,” said Jacob John, brand head, Louis Philippe, India.
