The world is definitely a better place when it is styled well, and the Blender’s Pride Fashion Tour, Mumbai, just upped the fashion quotient. Sleek and slender billowing silhouettes and draped structures gliding with unparalleled movement and volume showcased the glimmering beacon of art in various textures, cutworks, designs and quintessential forms of Indian work.

With sugar-coated and fantastical pieces by the fanciest of names in the fashion industry, Day 2 kicked off with Mandira Wirk’s ladylike ensembles in colours and swathe. Neeta Lulla’s concepts of black and heavy brought out the femme fatale in the newish mahoosive form of dark shade. Nandita Mahtani boggled our minds with glam, colour and immaculately tailored ensembles to make them enduringly evocative. Shantanu and Nikhil, Ashish Soni showcased their bit of flawlessly appealing whimsical pieces with a contemporary spin and dash of velvet and hues of high octane green. With overwhelming designs, rich festive palette and rich fabric, Vikram Phadnis closed the show with an awe-inspiring collection.

Popular faces built up the mood and we did a little bit of celeb spotting too. Sania Mirza, Celina Jaitley, Revathi, Rana Daggubati, Esha Gupta and Malaika Arora Khan sizzled the ramp with their glamour and exquisiteness. Sridevi, Tusshar Kapoor, Mughda Godse and Vidya Malvade came in to support their favourite designers. With such extravagant modes of fashion and vogue, this was undoubtedly the most stylish and powerful event of this season, as yet!
