The Mumbai edition of the Breast Cancer awareness programme showered its presence all the way from the sealink turning pink to a fancy event titled The Heroes Project- A Breast Cancer Initiative’. This was organised by iDiva.com at the Marriot hotel on November 11. With popular faces gracing this event, we spotted Gul Panag, Tisca Chopra and Artivijay Gupta. Felicitating those who have fought this disease and those who helped them get through it, the event kicked off with tea, coffee and pink cupcakes. It was hosted by stand up comedian Aditi Mittal.

Devieka Bhojwani (a breast cancer survivor herself) and the founder of Women’s Cancer Initiative, Tata Memorial Hospital, supported the entire event. We also saw dignitaries like Radiology Oncologist Dr Rakesh Jalali, Dr Vikar Ostwal, Dr Kiran Coelho and many others emphasising on the lifestyle and the preventive care, measures, treatments and the need for awareness regarding such issues.

Fun games at the iDiva interactive desk kept the guests busy with rewards like complete health check ups, gym memberships and complimentary hair consultations. This was followed by a sumptuous feast at the Red Zen inside the Marriot. It was an eventful and educative afternoon well spent for the ladies.
