The Converse Original Band

Converse Inc. through its Indian licensee, Planet Sports, the Sports Division of Pantaloon Retail India Ltd, announced ­­­­–GANESH TALKIES as the winner of The Converse Original Band, an integrated music initiative geared at discovering and celebrating emerging music talent across India.

The winning band GANESH TALKIES took home the title of The Converse Original Band along with a cash prize of Rs 50,000. The subsequent winners of The Converse Original Music JEKYLL & HYDE, The Converse Original Lyrics and Original Guitarist GANESH TALKIES categories each was awarded with Rs 20,000. All finalists will be featured on a CD compilation that will be distributed via Converse partner retail stores nationwide from February to April 2013.
