On the eve of the last race at the Mahalaxmi race course in Mumbai before the expiry of its lease, Tata Housing in association with the Turf Club of Mumbai held an award show function to felicitate the derby champs. As the city’s most fashionably dressed racing enthusiasts gathered to cheer them on, with thrilling dance performances, fashion and poise the event couldn’t have been more enchanting.
The gala affair saw sister-duo Riddhi & Siddhi showcase their absolutely sensational collection of evening gowns aptly titled “Waves of Temptation” accessorized with True Platinum & Nizam jewels which offers versatility of platinum along with diamonds to complement the look donned by the stunning models. Through their collection, the designers emphasized on different intensities of temptations- right from the purest of emotions like innocence and fragility to the dark deep emotions of lust, jealousy and hatred portrayed with help of silhouettes that were tailored with intricate details of waves and flowy textures.
Riddhi & Siddhi followed up with their second collection of “Soan Shringar” that went well in hand with the beautiful Nizam collection of antique, rosecut, kundan and jadau jewellery inspired by the rich cultural heritage of India. The sisters took inspiration from the texts of the Upanishads to make this particular line of garments in pure cotton, pure georgettes and traditional Indian silk fabrics.
The audience was left awestruck when the utterly dazzling showstopper, former Miss India and Southern siren Parvathy Omanakuttan sashayed down the ramp wearing a cockatil saree and a masterpiece from Nizam.
Following the vibrant fashion show, singers Tanya Gupta and Supriya Joshi entertained the audience belting out few of Bollywood’s most popular tracks in their melodious voices.
