Mia Bella: The Destination For Cosy Evenings

When I received an invite to do a review for the newly launched gastro bar and restaurant Mia Bella in Hauz Khas Village, I did not expect much as most pubs and restaurants here give you almost the same ambience. However, I was in for a surprise.

?????????

Located near the entrance of the Hauz Khas fort, one of the things that strikes you as you enter Mia Bella is its cosy ambience. Wooden walls, contemporary iron furniture, terrace with a surreal view of the Hauz Khas Fort Lake makes you, almost instantly, fall in love with the place.

Enjoying this ethereal view, I began my dinner with a glass of sinfully delicious Bloody Mary and Veg Miazza platter, comprising fatayar sabanik, cheese sambosik, falafel, hummus, babaganous, tzatziki, tabouleh, mokhalil with pita bread. I have to say, this was the best platter that I had eaten in a long time. Being a vegetarian, at most places I feel restricted, however, Mia Bella’s menu gave me the liberty of getting spoilt for choice. After the palate-pleasing platter, I next ordered a corn pizza for the main course. Thin crust, crisp, topped with delicious toppings, the pizza was a delight too.

Soothing music, delicious meal and pacifying ambience, what else do you need to make a wonderful evening! Anyone, who loves experimenting with food in an aesthetic decor and cosy ambience should definitely visit Mia Bella, at least once.
