The day began with Villayan by Nitya collection. Bright, bold colours in vintage silhouettes flowed on the ramp. Brilliant use of semi precious stones gave a trendy yet antique look to the outfits. We absolutely loved the gold ankelets at Villayan by Nitya.  Geometric designs and contrasting colours were blended by Karishma Shahani for her collection. Even the shoes had geometric shapes on them! Love geometry much? Dramatic headgears, glamour and glitter set the ramp on fire with Ken ferns’ show. When it comes to drama how can we forget b-town’s big drama king?! Yes Pratiek Babbar walked the ramp for Ken Ferns. Suited Up! Yes that was Sneha Arora’s theme for specially tailored women suits.  The mix of feminine and masculine was just right and totally classy!

The next set of designers have some coolest label names and obviously extremely funky collections!  Soup by Sougat Paul had some sarees with a tricky twist of colours. Graceful cocktails and gala gowns were just fabulous! Checks, Check Checks! Yes, Little Shilpa’s collection was all about mad checkered shirts and skirts. The unusual head gears displayed the designer’s eclectic sense of fashion and style.  If we’re talking about festive season then we just CANNOT forget Anushka Khanna’s easy to dress up collection.  The urban chic collection was dedicated to women who don’t try hard to dress up!

Phoenix in Paradise’ was the next collection presented by Kommal Sood. High on glam quotient, the collection was full of bright colours ranging from brilliant orange to neons.  Rajat Tangri’s collection showcased embroidery at its best. The perfect mix of embroidery and fur left us wanting to see more of his high end couture collection.  Bollywood’s rough and tough stud Randeep Huda walked down the ramp for Rajat Tangri, in his extremely dramatic style!

“Fashion can never be simple?”- Whoever said that was wrong! Because Sailex’s collection was full of simple, yet colourful outfits. Even long legged beauty Shilpa Shetty and her charming sister Shamita Shetty agree! After forever, we spotted Zareen Khan at Shehla Khan’s show. The Tales of Unexpected Collection’ by Shehla Khan was all about being cute and girly. We loved, loved over the top cute light pink dress with a matte silver jacket at the show. Gorgeous Jacqueline Fernandez was the show stopper for Shehla Khan’s fairy tale show.

Puffed sleeves, violent floral prints and animal prints were all a part of Arpita Mehta’s collection. The extremely sensuous animal printed jumpsuits with net were definitely bold and beautiful while the mirror work ensembles added all the elegance to the outfits. Charming Soha Ali Khan walked the ramp for Arpita Mehta. Royalty has been the theme for almost all the big designers and still it’s not a passé! Designer Shantanu Goenka’s collection A little wild, a little rich’ displayed royalty in a completely different style! Blacks and golds with a unique hairdo for the models were just right. Pretty Sonam Chauhan sashayed on the ramp for the designer.

Swapnil Shinde brought back the rock chic theme into action for his show! Bold spikes and gold, flaming coloured silhouettes and metallic accessories were presented by the designer for his show. Bold metallic touches and spikes with a desi twist were the rockstars on the runway!

Jazz tunes and Victorian street lamps took back the audience to the old British days in London for Troy Costa’s strictly street men collection. Checkered suits paired with neon pants and printed shirts were fun and classy with a touch of masculinity. Figure flattering suits with tiny detailing are perfect for men who cannot compromise comfort for fashion!

After a ride on the London Eye we were transported to European countryside by Rocky S with a collection of black embroidery and lace. Gowns in chiffon, silk and net were timeless and drop dead gorgeous. Dazzling Ankita Shorey walked down the ramp for Rocky S, wearing a beautiful black net gown with embroidery.
