Dry skin is the most common result of seasonal weathering. Cold winter air lacks humidity and dries up natural oils in your skin, causing it to lose its moisture. So a daily cleansing and moisturizing routine is a must. Special attention should be given to products used for skin care.   • Do not over wash your skin with hot water

  • Use night moisturizers apart from good day moisturizers. The night moisturizers should be more intense to work on skin throughout night
  • Before going out in sun apply sunscreen lotion on your body and reapply it after every 2-3 hours
  • Due to dry cold air, problem of chapped lips arises in this season so use good quality lip balm to give them a rosy and glossy look

Cracked heels is a common problem that people come across in this season and specially women who have to work in water for the whole day. To get rid of this problem soaks your feet in warm water at night for 15 minutes. Scrub with a pumice stone. Apply apricot cream and tie gauze around the heels and feet like a bandage. Keep this on the whole night. Do this every night for a week.
