A much-awaited film festival, Cannes has been attended by our Tinsel Town’s belles in full swing. An international ground for films, fashion and art, the festival has witnessed some of the amazing red carpet looks we’ve come across lately.
Here are celebrities who topped our fab list at Cannes Film Festival 2014.
Blake Lively In Gucci
The Gossip Girl star looked mesmerizing in a wine-red gown featuring a thigh-high slit. On yet another day, she wore a ‘50s inspired monochrome Gucci gown with a sweetheart neckline. She kept her hair tied that accentuated her near-perfect facial features. Blake rocked the old Hollywood glam look!
Frieda Pinto In Oscar De La Renta
The global beauty opted for a voluminous pink Oscar De La Renta gown with lame gold embroidery. She kept her makeup minimal and hair neatly side-parted and tied up. We love her fuss-free look!
Sonia Rolland In Zuhair Murad
The French actress and former Miss France stole quite many glances in a burnt red lace gown with cape-sleeves. She matched her lipstick with the outfit and carried a silver clutch. You look beautiful, Mademoiselle!
Sonam Kapoor in Anamika Khanna
While we’ve seen the B-town’s fashionista saunter on the red carpet in an Elie Saab gown too, it was the modified sari by Anamika Khanna that truly appealed to our Indian hearts. The neutral champagne palette worked well head-to-toe on her as she matched her clutch and heels with her outfit. A gold-and-pearls choker statement neckpiece lay perfectly set on her tulle yoke. We like!
Liya Kebede In Roberto Cavalli
Model Liya looked sultry as she ditched a floor length gown for a blue-and-black sequinned mini dress featuring a plunging V-neck. Ankle strap heels and a box clutch complemented her outfit. Soft waves and an tangy red pout complemented her sun-kissed look.
Mallika Sherawat in Emilio Pucci
Now our media is so used to trashing Ms. Sherawat for her appearances that they pass their verdict without having any substance in their matter. Mallika decided to go subtle on the red carpet this time in a long powder blue Emilio Pucci lace gown. A microscopic beige clutch seems to be a good choice. That and her tied up hair.
Paz Vega in Elie Saab
The model opted for an evening embellished ivory dress over a ball gown. She paired the translucent shimmery dress with pointy nude Louboutins and wore Chopard jewels. Ah, sheer love!
