Rising with the Sun at the SulaFest’16

Musical festivals are getting bigger and better every year. Everyone loves going to dreamy places with the agenda of getting absorbed in the world of music with their favourite artist. This year SulaFest’16 by Sula Vineyards, Nasik on Feb 6th & 7th, is all prepared to invite you to India’s most gorgeously situated, eagerly awaited Gourmet World Music Festival.

With performances from over 100 international and national artists, music that spans more than 25 genres and 23 nations – SulaFest 2016 goes a notch higher in its ninth edition.  The Cat Empire will make their much-awaited Indian debut as one of the headliners of SulaFest ’16.  Percussionist Jamshid Khadiwala of Indian origin is making his debut in India, as is the band!

Joining The Cat Empire will be artists like Edu Imbernon, Kailasa, Balkan Beat Box, Dub Inc, Success, Made in Barcelona, Delhi 2 Dublin, Luna City Express, Rik Watts, Bono Goldbaum, Madboy/Mink, Tribal Flora, Rodney Branigan, Aqua Dominatrix, O-Be, Shy-O, Sashanti, Whosane! & Anastasia and many more.

The festival will be seeing over 30 gourmet food and beverage options. Social, The Bombay Food Truck, Olive Bar & Kitchen, Woodside Inn and several others will be serving up great food to go with the wine. While you may dine, drink and relax at the Tasting Room or Soleil by La Plage, wine tastings, shopping, grape stomping, tarot reading and body art are just some of the activities you may not want to miss.

Let’s Camp Out is setting up 350 tents at the campsite this year, about 300 meters from the amphitheatre. Taj, Ibis, Ginger and Express Inn are just some of the hotel options you may choose from – all located less than 30 minutes from the vineyards.

So clear your schedules, bring out your flowy gowns and floppy hats and get prepared to let Sula take you through what promises to be one of the best weekends of 2016!
