“Leadership is about making others feel better as a result of your presence and making sure the impact lasts in your absence”

A lot has been written and spoken about ‘women in power’, ‘most successful women’ and a host of similar titles, especially on International Women’s Day. Conversely, little reference is made to those who influence these powerful women to reach great heights in their professional and personal lives. This #IWD2016, we at Fashion Most Wanted choose to find out more about what makes a woman the powerhouse of talent she is.

Here’s our list, feel free to add to it.

Namrata Soni

There’s not a single magazine cover in India that has not featured Namrata’s work. Known in the circuit as the most sought after’, Namrata lists among her clientele the likes of Shahrukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Sonam Kapoor, Malaika Arora Khan and Sonakshi Sinha. Among her most memorable pieces of work is Elle’s August 2014 magazine cover featuring Kiran Rao in her geek avatar.

Tanya Ghavri

Bollywood’s quintessential stylist always let’s her work speak for itself. Everytime you see Kareena Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor step out looking like a million bucks, credit goes to this girl. Remember Richa Chadha at Cannes 2015 in that gorgeous Sabyasachi saree? Well, now you know who put together that look!

Anjula Acharia-Bath

If Priyanka Chopra is making all the right moves in Hollywood today, it is all thanks to her Manager, Anjula Acharia-Bath. The woman known to have not rested till she got an Indian make way into Amercia’s prime time, Anjula does not just add Ms. Chopra’s success to her credit. She is also a full-time partner at Trinity Ventures that has Starbucks on its portfolio.

Kudos to all the women working relentlessly behind the scenes.  More power to you!
