Designer duo Sonam and Paras Modi hosted an exclusive sneak peek preview of their spring summer 2015 collection. A very select set of celebrities, media and buyers were invited to review and celebrate their collection called ‘Istanblu’. The collection is a treat to a fashion connoisseur’s eye and we are sure its going to make waves this season not only for festive occasions but also on the red carpet.
The collection has its eastern influence and charm, yet retains a very western silhouette. Righly suited for a woman who is trendy yet ethnically rooted to her culture.
The designer couple went to Turkey during the end of 2014 and visited Istanbul, Pammukale, Antalya, and Cappadocia. Istanbul was instantly one of their favourite cities due to its rich cultural heritage and gorgeous architecture. They were totally bowled over by the beautiful blend of European and Asian culture which is reflected in the food, the nightlife and the people.
Everything from the motifs on the walls, the colours, the lattice grilled windows, the beautiful flower pot tiles and the heritage jewels is what brought together our spring summer 2015 collection”, says Sonam Modi.
