Atosa hosted a cocktail evening to showcase creations by young and dynamic fashion designer Sonya Vajifdar for the preview of her unique raincoats and prêt colour drenched line for the monsoons. Sonya with Aparna Badlani and Azmina Rahimtoola of Atosa played gracious hosts to the guests.

Designer Sonya Vajifdar has redefined rain wear in India by being the first designer to focus on High Fashion Rainwear. An innovative touch with the combination of funky colours, airy and functional designed to transform every raincoat into something snug and luxuriously warm. Sonya’s latest rainwear line is once again, trendy, stylish and chic. The collection comprises a number of styles such as neon coloured raincoats, balloon style raincoats and even pop-coloured rain ponchos. Her rain wear comes in a variety of colours and can also be jazzed up with sequins and beads wrapped in a net fabric to give the 3D effect. Quality to Sonya is of utmost importance, each piece is tested under water before being sold! With exaggerated sleeves, bubble hems and stylish cuts, her rain coats pass off more as dresses and are sure to up your glam quotient this monsoon.



Guests seen mingling were Aditya Roy Kapoor, Shahzahn Padamsee who came dressed in an teal blue green ensemble by good friend Sonya Vajifdar, Pratichee Mohapatra, Krishika Lulla with daughter Siya Lulla who were seen dressing their dog Bonsai in a raincoat by Sonya, Scherezade Shroff, Designer Shruti Sancheti and many more.

The dogs had a field day as did the kids walking all over Atosa and the garden with thier new stylish rainwear by Sonya.
