Watching the much-anticipated film version of The Great Gatsby‘ got me thinking whether has 20’s Fashion made a vehement comeback to our wardrobes! This brilliantly styled film successfully conveys the vibrancies of that decade and we are sure this trend is here to stay. Academy Award-winning costume designer Catherine Martin and legendary fashion designer Miuccia Prada along with Brooks Brothers worked to create the twenties-inspired costumes that the cast wear. So now it is time for FMW to guide you to get your 20’s style wardrobe ready!
Let It Hang: Beads, tassels, fringes are synonymous with this era. Don’t just restrict it to apparel, let your accessories go wild. The chandelier dress is a must have.

Peter Pan Collars: A to-die-for trend. If your dress doesn’t have one, get a detachable one and spruce it up with some beaded jewelery.
Shift Dresses: Perfect for any body type, the shift dress is super for summers too. Preferably a knee length, team it with a belt if you want to show off your slender waist.
Feather Effect: Doesn’t have to necessarily be feathers, but feather inspired ruffles at the hemline or at the shoulder definitely add some oomph to a garment. Feathered headbands and earrings are a current rage too.
Printed Scarves: Printed scarves can be worn round the head, neck or even around the waist creating a style everyone would follow or envy.

T-bar Shoes: Comfortable and chic, a trend we hoping is here to stay.
Pearls: Studs, neckpieces or bracelets, pile it on or keep it down to a minimum, either way it’s a classic and a must need in your wardrobe.
If you haven’t watched the movie, put it down in your to-do list. It really makes to the list of being one of the most stylish movies of all time.
