Most food products today are laden with artificial chemicals, flavours, colours, enhancers, emulsifiers, improvers and preservatives. Our first impression of such an offering was that of an Indianised version of the Subway where the breads were replaced with roti to create a more Indian connect. But our myth was quickly busted as we spoke to Mr. Raghav Gupta the man behind the conception of Jiwa. We were keen to get a first hand understanding of their food philosophy.  He explained when we order wheat bread at Subway, you aren’t really getting whole-wheat bread. It’s enriched. This means that the wheat stalk has been removed and processed, making it much cheaper to mass produce. This type of wheat bread has essentially the same properties as white bread.

Jiwa offers a variety of specialised & customised atta which created from responsibly sourced natural ingredients and handpicked grains. Jiwa multi-food attas are a blend of multiple grains, dals & pulses, some natural dried vegetables & herbs, edible seeds and some other super foods. The only additives that ever go into the atta are essential vitamins and minerals, which helps the body to get recommended daily dose of essential nutrients. The brand has ingeniously supplemented their products with probiotics and are proud to be the first ones to do so.
