With the red carpet becoming the runway for 10 days, and choicest fashion on display by stars from around the world, this is one show you don’t want to miss. Day 4 saw the premiere of Jimmy P. at the Grand Théâtre Lumière and the red carpet dazzled with many celebrities.
The best dressed star that evening would undoubtedly be Nieves Alvarez in a Ralph & Russo couture piece. Her gown was custom designed for the evening at Cannes 2013. The train that started from the side hip, made the outfit stand out. Pairing it with a Christian Louboutin spiked clutch, Chopard earrings and side-swept hair only upped the glam quotient.
Well, she surely is raising the bar for others!
Does Cheryl Cole ever disappoint? She graced the red carpet for the premiere in a Zuhair Murad maroon, embellished gown. The sexy bouffant with a loose braid completed her look. Without a doubt, she is one of the most well dressed women and is getting better with age.
Even at 75, Jane Fonda oozed sex-appeal as she glided on the red carpet. Her Atelier Versace silk gown with Swarovski embellishments and neat detailing worked wonders. An impeccable look put together with a Versace clutch, Chopard jewels and Jimmy Choo peep toes.
Liya Kebede is evidence for how heavy embellished gowns are never going to be passé. She donned a sheer Roberto Cavalli long sleeve suede-and-chiffon gown embroidered with Swarovski crystals. We love how she held it all together with a hardly there clutch, Boucheron Ava earrings and a Serpent Boheme ring.
Finally the only man my eyes held on to at the Jimmy P. premiere was Liam Hemsworth. Not only is he a fine-looking man, but also knows how to dress well. Dressed in a classic black-and-white Dolce & Gabbana from head to toe, he added just a David Yurman silver Waves tie bar to seal the look.
While Eva Longoria in an Atelier Versace, Doutzen Kroes in a Calvin Klein Collection and Jennifer Lawrence in a Christian Dior too walked the red carpet, their outfits didn’t quite catch my eye.
