Social media is flooded with inspiration. Men from India and across the globe are taking the social world by storm with pictures, blogs and grooming tips. What was once considered as just a woman thing’ is today become a norm for both sexes ““ Presentation. Beauty they say lies in the eye of the beholder. The modern Indian influence on fashion has however proved that style can be decoded and grooming is the only right way to do so.
Indian retail company ““ Shoppers Stop, in 74 stores across 35 cities has aimed to make the Indian man more dapper. Over years Shoppers Stop has revolutionized the concept of shopping and made fashion more affordable to the average Indian. Adding many a milestone to its credit, Shoppers Stop was also among the earliest brands to go digital, launching a website way back in 2008 and has only recently launched its own mobile application, thereby completing its omni-channel sales strategy.
Through it all, Shoppers Stop has managed to transition with fashion. It’s no wonder that they were among the earliest to emphasize upon the concept of a well groomed’ Indian man. Adding the swag is the way to go, whether on a coffee date or in the board room. Well co-ordinated clothes to the perfect pair of shoes scream dapper!
In addition to brands like Allen Solly, United Colors of Benetton and the likes, Shoppers Stop also launched their own in-house clothing brands. #BrandsOfShoppersStop include Stop, Vettorio Destino, Life and Rocky S among others. For us, playing dress-up never seemed more exciting.
We dug through their collection by Rocky S, an exclusive pret line only available at Shoppers Stop, to put together looks that could inspire everyday dressing.
- The uber startup’ work wear: We would consider denim to be an all season wear. You can work it to a casual night out with the boys or pair it up with a sharp solid color chinos like we did, for a day at the office. We’ve styled our look with a brown satchel and a matching denim pair of shoes.
- The Sunday brunch wear: Sunday’s are all about unwinding and getting comfortable. Whether you have brunch planned or a visit to the art gallery, this textured deep blue shirt acts as a perfect contrast to the otherwise sober Sunday. Accessorize it well and you’ve got yourself a head turner look.
The dictionary defines dapper as being neat and trim in look and appearance’ but only Shoppers Stop knows how to do it all right!
